CONFORMATION TRAINING CLASSES Start October 4 , 2008:

Conformation training classes will be held at Lakeshore Park on the Reservoir at 9:00 a.m. Classes will run for approximately 5 to 6 weeks. Please contact Robby or Michele Bearden to sign up.

dog show match and canine good citizenship certification test

BKC will be offering a conformation match and a Canine Good Citizenship Certification test on October 11, 2008.

 

When:  Saturday, October 11, 2008
Where:  Lake Shore Park
             Brandon, MS  39047-6006
Registration:  9 am – 10 am
Entry fee:  $5 per dog
Classes:   3-6 month puppy
      6-9 month puppy
      9-12 month puppy
      Open
Match begins at 10 am

Canine Good Citizen Testing
Evaluator:  Christi Kirby
Cost:  $10 per dog

CGC test will consist of:

Accepting a friendly stranger
Sitting politely for petting
Appearance and grooming
Out for a walk (walking on a loose lead)
Walking through a crowd
Sit and down on command and Staying in place
Coming when called
Reaction to another dog
Reaction to distraction
Supervised separation
